OWP Advocacy

The Organization for World Peace provides a critical voice in the international system, promoting peaceful and innovative solutions to complex issues. In doing so, the OWP seeks not only to educate the public, but to lobby those with significant influence to use their power to make decisions that promote peace and protect those who are most vulnerable.

The OWP advocates on a range of issues, all with an inherent link to peace and eradicating violent conflict. These issues include disarmament and the de-escalation of conflict and tension, the protection of human rights, and encouraging cooperation on complex issues.

Peace without Justice
is an impossibility.

Desmond Tutu

I remain convinced that most human conflicts can be solved through genuine open dialogue conducted with a spirit of openness and reconciliation.

The Dalai Lama XIV

The OWP Advocacy team promotes the consideration of peaceful solutions to complex issues by providing thorough research and well-thought out recommendations to resolve conflict. This includes directly lobbying decision makers and key actors to take actions that promote peaceful resolution to these issues. We endeavor to publish our advocacy work for all to see, and for others to share.
